What Is the Verification Badge?
The Verification Badge is a special blue checkmark displayed beside the names of organisers whose identity and authenticity have been confirmed by Shows.NG.
It’s designed to build trust and credibility between organisers and attendees across all Shows.NG platforms. Once verified, the badge appears:
- On your organiser profile page
- Next to your name on your event pages
- On your public event cards across the website, Android, and iOS apps
How Organisers Get Verified
Our system automatically grants verification badges to organisers who meet certain trust and activity benchmarks, such as:
- Maintaining an active organiser account
- Hosting multiple successful events
- Completing internal identity and quality checks
These automatic verifications help ensure that active, trustworthy organisers are recognized without needing to submit a request.
Want to Request Manual Verification?
If you believe you qualify for verification but haven’t yet been approved, you can request it manually through our Help Center. Here’s how:
- Visit our Help Center.
- Create a new support ticket.
- Choose “Verification Badge Request” as the category.
- Explain why you believe you should be verified.
- Upload a valid government-issued ID that matches your full name on Shows.NG.
Our verification team will review your request.
- If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation and the badge will appear on your profile.
- If declined, we’ll let you know the reason and provide next steps if applicable.
