Set up an organisation

Creating an organisation takes three steps. A checklist on the organisation overview shows what is left.

Create organisation
  1. Name and country Choose Create organisation in the workspace switcher, then enter the organisation name and country.
  2. Contact details Add a contact email and, if you like, a phone number. The organisation is created and you become its Owner.
  3. Invite team members Invite up to five people, each with a team role, or skip and invite them later.
  4. Add the organisation bank account The Owner adds the account that payouts are paid into and confirms it with a security code.
  5. Create your first event With the organisation selected, the events you create belong to it.

Switch between Personal and your organisations

The workspace switcher at the top of every organiser page shows where you are working. Your choice stays in place as you move between pages.

  • Events, tickets, add-ons and coupons show the selected workspace's items
  • Your dashboard opens the organisation overview
  • Bookings and reports open the organisation's reports
  • Move a personal event into an organisation before it has tickets or orders
Can I create more than one organisation?

Yes. Each organisation has its own events, team, balance and bank account. Switch between them with the workspace switcher.

What happens to my personal events?

They stay in your Personal workspace and are paid to your own account. Team members see only the organisation's events.

Can I move a personal event into an organisation?

Yes, if the event has no tickets, add-ons, orders, refunds or payouts yet, and your team role in the organisation can create events. Contact support to move an event that already has sales.

What does an invited team member need?

An active Shows.ng account with a verified email address and organiser access, signed in with the email address the invitation was sent to.

Who can request payouts?

The Owner and team members with the Finance role. Only the Owner can change the organisation bank account.

Can the Owner leave the organisation?

No. The Owner first transfers organisation ownership to another team member, who must accept before the transfer happens.

What happens when an organisation is closed?

New sales, events and invitations stop. Existing tickets, refunds and financial records stay available until everything is settled, and team members keep read-only access to past reports.
