Answer booking offers and sign your contract

When a customer wants to book you, we send you an offer. You agree the booking with Shows, not with the customer directly, and you never see the customer's contact details.

Answer an offer

We email you when a new offer arrives. Open Bookings in your Pro workspace. Each offer shows the event details, the work involved, your fee and the date to answer by.

  • Accept offer: you're available for that fee.
  • Propose a different fee: enter the fee you want and a note to us, then select Send proposal. We accept it or get back to you.
  • Decline: we'll know you're not available.

Answer by the date shown. We remind you the day before; an offer that isn't answered in time expires.

The fee in your offer is what you're paid. Shows adds its commission to the customer's price separately.

Sign your performance contract

After the customer accepts their quote, you get a performance contract with Shows. Open the booking and go to Contract.

  • Sign online: enter your full name, draw or type your signature, agree to sign electronically and select Sign contract. For security, signing needs a sign-in from the last few minutes; if it's been longer, select Sign in first.
  • Sign on paper: download the contract, sign it by hand and upload a scan or photo (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 15 MB).

If you signed up as a business, also enter your job title and confirm you're authorised to sign for the business.

Both contracts only take effect once the customer pays in full by the due date. If they don't, both contracts lapse and the booking is released.

If the fee changes

If the booking changes after you've agreed, we may propose a new fee. Select Accept new price to sign the contract again with the new fee, or Decline to keep the current one.

Message us

Each booking has its own conversation with us under Messages, and you can also message us about your storefront in general. You can't message customers.
