About This Event

Jazz and Conversations is an African Jazz radio show, that airs on Saturday nights. It has been running since 2016, on LagosTalks 91.3FM. The show features primarily original jazz by African musicians based on the continent and in the diaspora. The musicians in the two groups performing on the night are from Nigeria & South Africa (AFRO4), and from Ghana (GHJazz Collective). Come and experience the new generation of Hugh Masekelas, Manu Dibangos, Fela Kutis, Ahmad Jamals & Miriam Makebas in a live setting with fellow jazz lovers and aficionados. This will be the first in a series of quarterly concerts, themed “The African Jazz Series”.
